battabaas Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Generally Ziegler Nichols is most used method for tuning a PID controller. The PID controller is a simple [u]P[/u]roportional, [u]I[/u]ntegral and [u]D[/u]ifferential Controller and that boils down to a simple mathematical Calculus equation. Let me know what tuning methods you are comparing. I'll let you know if I can help.
