'All Izz Well' is Rosaiah talk

Chief Minister K Rosaiah is making a desperate attempt to project to the rest of the world that all is well with Andrha Pradesh these days.

Taking advantage of the peace prevailing in the state for the last two weeks, Rosaiah has speeded up the administration. The ongoing district review meetings, the Collectors’ Conference from Wednesday and a total revamp of the administration are all set to be part of his own image building exercises. Rosaiah also wants to shift into the Chief Minister’s official residence at Begumpet in a week or two after the completion of repairs, only to create an impression that he is here to stay for long.

The recent announcement on selection of bidders for Hyderabad Metro Rail Project is also part of this “All is Well” strategy. Though the bidders were apprehensive of the project in view of the ongoing crisis over Telangana, the state government prevailed on them to submit the bids only to create feel good atmosphere for other investors. The real trouble will begin at the time of submission of financial bids. If the Centre makes any positive statement on Telangana, all those who bid for the metro rail project would definitely go back, sources said.
