After disrupting film shootings in Decembers, Cricket seems to be the new target for Telangana activists. A little while ago, a mob of Telangana activists stormed the Uppal Stadium in Hyderabad and disrupted a practice match which was going on at that moment. The match was between Andhra Pradesh and Hyderabad Ranji teams. The police immediately sprang into action and tried to control the mob. There were quite a few spectators who had come to see the match, sadly they were asked to leave the venue following this disruption. The mob of Telangana activists later threatened that they will disrupt all Cricket matches which will be held in Hyderabad in near future including the IPL 20-20 matches involving Deccan Chargers and other teams. We will have to wait and see how BCCI, IPL and state government along with Telangana JAC respond to this fresh attacks.
