Ikkada MSPS (MS in professional sciences) ani program okati undi kada course lo koncham syllabi chala broad gaane undi..mari same emi repeat kavatledu subjects but course peru matram ade ....

I want to know opportunities ..after biotech MS ikkada in USA.
BioInformatics emaina edge undochu ani opportunities lo ani na feeling..but does it make that big difference?

I would say go for Bioinformatics... I would strongly say NO for Biotechnology

Baa....US lo Bioinfo ante totally justified subject.

India lo Bioinfo scope/concentration different, ikkada different.

India lo okasaari MS in Biotech chesaaka, mallee ikkada MS enduku? Y don't he go for PhD?

Bioinfo ayipoyaaka prastutam job market baane undi. Mostly universities lo chances ekkuva.Job security kooda ekkuva. Pay scale compared to an IT guy is less.

US lo MS in bioinfo lo IT courses (databases, command line scripting) ye aayuvupattu kaaka. I hope IT professionals will feel great about this.

IT courses lekunda ikkada MS cheyaleru kaaka. I would rather suggest him to go for a PhD which leaves you with an ocean of opportunities compared to Masters.

IT subjects lekunda (PERL, R, JAVA , SAS ilantivi ) edina vachi vundali ..... direct bioinfo jobs anni ee languages ki relate ayyi vuntai..... biotech jobs aithe.. no IT pure research.. but pay check will be much lighter.


Inka permanent jobs antava... prethi MS bioinfo or biotech ki PHD application vachi compete chesthundhi...... so manaki work experience vunte ne aa resume tho compete cheyyagalam... MS chesetappude .. internships chesthe u can do better after coming out.... ALL THE BEST.

Can you suggest some univ's for transfer in Biotech.
Transfer is also i guess its late now , kani suggest some univ's bhiayya for biotech MS for 1050 range GRE and 88 TOEFL.

sadaa mee sevalo.... IT ante bayapadataniki em vundadhu.... nenu kuda biotech chesa btech lo..... masters lo basic IT (java, c, unix) vi nerchukunna.... first basic vi nerchukunte... the way u look at IT .. aa perspective change ayidhi... then u can do bioinfo courses like PYTHON programming etc. so ala try cheyyamanu... ALL IZZ WELL

Mee bro anthaga programming ante bhayapadithe, its better for him to shift to different programme..nenu bhi bio filed kaabatti I know how difficult it is to learn IT stuff..!!
