while taking pictures with shallow DOF (depth of field) experiment more with apperture settings.. f/1.9 for 50 mm should work great...

as you can see the milk foam doesnt appear sharp because of improper adjustment of white balance.... little tricky since you have to manage two things oppositway at the same time....

try this next time.. ISO - 400 aperture - f/6.3 and shutter speed - 1/125.. if you still experince hue (extra whitness) in your picture.. then adjust the histogram...

please try this setting and post the same subject again..... it is of no use just clicking the shutter in auto mode ... except for the fact you get better on choosing the subject... as I can see you are getting more creative in choosing a better subject for each post.. but you can enjoy more with photogrpahy by playing around with the same subject with different settigns etc.....

buy some lego bricks and play with them.. they are awesum to practice your skills initially... ATB

good one you got the two birds right in time ... but they are overcast because of under exposure.... the cardinal in left is almost pitch black
