then square length = 40 - X

Circle area = pi * r * r (in terms of r)

square area = [(40-X)/4]*[(40-X)/4]

ipudu total area = pi * r * r + [(40-X)/4]*[(40-X)/4]

total area in terms of r kaavalante
2*pi*r = X so r = X/(2*pi)

so now circle are = pi * r * r ; square area = [(40-2*pi*r)*(40-2*pi*r)/16]
