baa depends on your company rules and policies...first find out how many days notice u need to give from ur employer...and it is not good to inform to ur manager directly because u said u never spoke to him...first ask ur point of contact what u should do and go by his words....and make sure all the communication is done only through emails....beacuse u can have prooof even if anything goes wrong from their side
