Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president D Srinivas returned from New Delhi with a broad smile on his face.

Srinivas, who met all top leaders of the Congress high command including Sonia Gandhi in the last three days, has made the same old statement that there would be a positive development on Telangana. “It would make every Telugu person happy,” he said.

But what is that DS had got from the high command? Sources from New Delhi said DS had got an assurance from the high command that he would be made a deputy chief minister in the Rosaiah cabinet, which he thinks would satisfy the Telangana leaders. The arrangement would be part of the Gentleman’s Agreement. Naturally, it will bring smile to DS!
