Good response to Babu’s Adilabad tour

Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu received a good response to his public meetings in Adilabad, Kagajnagar, Bellampally, Kdem, Nirmal and Bainsa in the district today.

While coming down heavily on the ‘corrupt’ Congress and the ‘inefficient’ Praja Rajyam Party (PRP), Naidu explained his Cash Transfer Scheme (CTS). He said the implementation of the scheme was possible as the Grand Alliance government would bring pressure on the Third Front government and see that the money deposited by Congress leaders in banks in Switzerland came to the country. On PRP, Naidu said its president Chiranjeevi was best at dancing in films but in politics he (Chiranjeevi) was taking all ‘wrong steps’.

Chiranjeevi criticised the CTS and his brother Pawan Kalyan opposed free distribution of colour TV sets.

Their statements exposed their hollowness, Naidu alleged.

“The PRP is in utter confusion as it does not know who will remain and who will quit the party,’’ he quipped. He promised to set up a Girjan University in the district if the Grand Alliance was voted to power.
