'Gamyam' Missed National Award Narrowly !!!

The National Awards were announced and it is noticed that a lot of Bollywood movies were able to get a good share of it. As for the regional section and that too the Telugu section, it went to ‘1940 lo Oka Gramam’. However, this came as a bit of surprise to few here.

Apparently, many had their eyes on ‘Gamyam’ which swept the key ones during the Nandi awards and given the caliber of the film, they expected it to hit the National Award as well. However, that didn’t happen and sources say that it barely missed the award by a margin of 1-2 points.

The National Awards were conferred by the 16 members panel that forms the jury and it is heard that the concept of ‘1940 lo….’ appealed them in a different way. Well, that’s the result of the National Awards and the chances of ‘Gamyam’.
