Doubt In Java Server Faces

Hi Friends..

Am working on the User Interface for our application where we are using JSF & Icefaces..

In one of the screens I have a column in the data table which contains a hyper link .

when the user clicks the hyper link the xml content should be displayed in a separate Browser .

I used servelet to display the xml content but our team is saying that using servlet in jsf is not a good practice.

Is there a way i can display the xml in the Browser using only JSF.

Plz suggest an example ...

I tried in this site but unable to find one.
