may be u r in one prestigious company...u can see the stats from higher education dept..people with degrees in sciences is very less and that amount is not sufficeint to fill in and replace Indian work force...

how can u say that.......its a misconception.may be ur comparing it with 'us'( indians)....where people dont respect you if u havent graduated as an engineer.../some professional course ....here u've good oppurtunties in every filed.....there was a shortage here during dotcom bubble........so they started offshoring,hiring foriegn workers to execute the projects....but its been a decade since the boom and now most of them (americans)are also into IT....and they have a reasonable people looking for jobs ...hence resulting in scrutinizing immigrants.....
