Angry Birds Trilogy Coming To 3Ds, Ps3 And Xbox 360 Later This Year

Despite already being a [url="http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/30/angry-birds-space-50-million-downloads/"]massive success story[/url] on the Android and iOS platforms, [url="http://www.engadget.com/2012/05/07/rovio-2011-financials/"]Rovio's[/url] clearly not planning on slowing down its [url="http://www.engadget.com/tag/angry+birds/"]Angry Birds[/url] adventure any time soon. Speaking to [i]IGN[/i] earlier today, the company's Executive Vice President of Games, Petri Järvilehto, told the site that the [i]Angry Birds Trilogy[/i] is headed -- in physical form, no less -- to the [url="http://www.engadget.com/2011/03/21/nintendo-3ds-review/"]3DS[/url], [url="http://www.engadget.com/2009/08/27/playstation-3-slim-review/"]PlayStation 3[/url] and [url="http://www.engadget.com/2010/07/02/new-xbox-360-slim-250gb-review/"]Xbox 360[/url] later this holiday season. Sadly, Järvilehto didn't say how much we'll have to spend on the bird-slinging trilogy, or when exactly it'll be available at retail shops -- though he did say you should "think of the game as the ultimate collector's edition." The Trilogy's set to include the original [i]Angry Birds[/i] title, [i]Seasons[/i] and [i]Rio[/i], with the set expected to offer support for Kinect, Move and StreetPass on Nintendo's three-dimensional handheld
