Rajinikanth is paid 36 crores for ROBO

According to sources Rajinikanth is being paid 36 crores for his forthcoming movie ROBO, making him the highest paid actor in Asia after Jackie Chan. He was reportedly paid Rs. 26 crores for his 2007 release SivajiSivaji: The Boss and it went on to become one of the major Bollywood and Hollywood films of the year. In ROBO Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is cast opposite Rajinikanth as heroine for the first time. The film is expected to cost 165 crores, one of the highest ever film budgets of the Indian film industry
