Market Research : If SAP manages to completely usurp Oracle database within its installed
base, Oracle would theoretically lose up to $2bn in revenue ($0.15 or 8% of 2013e EPS)

i've been working on HANA believe me its very Buggy !! SAP is trying to improve it Day by Day !!

Juvenile do you thing its good to opt HANA or MDM ? i am planning to make a switch of technology and looking on these. What do you think and how would be market for these if you got an idea.

Well we'r still on BW but planning to go for HANA. Not much aware about performance as I am from SCM.

does anyone know abt EDQ (Enterprise Data Quality i guess- replacement for MDM (not sure ) from Oracle. This is being implemented in our company. does any one ever worked on this/ or anyone know abt this?

Right now just Hana .. We r pulling data from ECC and CRM using SLT relplication ..

Frontend is BI 4.0

BW needs SAP NW 7.3 ..

HANA ki future undi .. In my experience performance is just Awesome !! There are some bugs but Future mottam HANA de ani naa feeling !!

Yes , Thats one part ! it stores data in memory !! So faster than going to DIsks .. No real I/O ...

Updating and inseting also HANA doesit in a different way compared to traditional Oracle RDBMS .. Quite effective !

Any suggestion for training institute for it. Also do we need to have idea on any other module before opting for this. i have good dba experience.
