You can travel if it is in the same terminal..meaning if you are changing the flight in the same terminal. It is called Direct transit visa, which is automatically given to the people who travel to the U.S. EU countries and some developed countries like Aus, Newzeland, Canada and etc. It is there in thier website.

If you are changing the flight which is in the another terminal, then you need the transit visa.

I would recommend not booking through Air France as well. Pacific route or Dubai safest
