dotnetrockz Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 [indent]This one's not even a problem...but since it happened to cross my mind couple of times, so I thought I will [u][color="#009900"]share[/color][/u] and maybe ask for a few opinions... ok...like a lot of girls in [u][color="#009900"]college[/color][/u] in India, i used to wear short skirts within hostel..but not outside. But when I came to US..my husband loved these short, [u][color="#009900"]cute dresses[/color][/u], and asked me to wear them out of home too. Ofcours I welcomed it...coz I love to dress up that way. We had our cute moments, and my DH would surprise me often by bringing home dresses he found cute and little hot. Now--he has couple of frds out of whom, I found 2 or 3 very cheeky. Its normal in our friends circle for men and women to hug each other while saying hi and .....but the way they did to me--I found something inappropriate......and I pointed it out to my DH, who thought perhaps it was just in my head. Now we went to a party recently...and I wore one of the short dresses my husband bought for me and used to love so much on me (I didn't wear it out of place..all these friends wives too wear such stuff on and off).....these two cheeky frds surrounded me in the party and kept talking to me ALL the time ..every-time my DH would come to join the group, one of them would start pulling his leg constantly in an unpleasant way......the other guy clicked my pictures in a way my DH didn't like (he showed me [u][color="#009900"]the pics[/color][/u] later on...and I didn't like it too!).....this time my DH felt very uncomfortable too, I could see his face [u][color="#009900"]turning[/color][/u] red... When we were driving back home....he didn't speak to me......I asked him the reason why?...He just nastily told me-I had no dressing sense, and I wore such short clothes-I get all the wrong attention !! (HE bought the dress---he asked me to wear it---he recommended me to wear even in this party..and I was being blamed now![img]http://www.indusladies.com/forums/images/smilies/bonk.gif[/img])........I told him they weren't after me becoz of what I was wearing, but these 2/3 frds have been cheeky right from the beginning(I always pointed them out, that time DH said I am just assuming things perhaps).....I told him its becoz they are jealous of the fact that our marriage has gone from terrible to soo beautiful, they are acting this way....our argument rested in a while, my DH said --he said he just felt a bit jealous with those guys' attitude towards me in the party...we hugged, laughed and made up. However, my DH no longer gets me those surprise gifts of cute dresses, ......while those friends wives happily roam around wearing all kinda stuff!!...Its not that I am dying to wear such clothes...I started wearing them to make my DH happy.....and I can happily give up wearing them outside my home if he wants me to do so!...But I do miss his cute, carefree and chilled out attitude, and those weekly surprises....[img]http://www.indusladies.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif[/img] thanks for reading the not so important issue...(I told you I didn't have any serious problem to post...just a bit of loud thinking...[img]http://www.indusladies.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif[/img])...[/indent]
