[color=#000000][font=Times]Summary: Design, Develop, Implement and modify WebSphere Portal applications for a leading airline's airport services IT. The applications are built in IBM Portal Server using WebSphere Portlet Factory. The system will integrate with SOAP-based web services, databases and legacy systems to retrieve and present information in a portal application while ensuring a common look-and-feel across all applications.

Candidate must have strong technical skills as well as be a good communicator, organized, and self-starter. The ideal individual is also comfortable interacting directly with business users and helping to discover requirements, as well as someone who can act as an ambassador for portal in the organization.

Education/Experience
o Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent training required
o 5-10 years experience required
o Minimum of 1 year WebSphere Portlet Factory development experience
o Minimum of 2 years Portal experience (WebSphere portal preferred)
o Minimum 4 years JEE experience

Skills
o WebSphere Portlet Factory Version 6.1 or higher (Required)
o Development of custom WebSphere Portlet factory builders
o Java, JEE, Javascript, XML, XSD, WSDL, AJAX, DOJO, SOA, Web Services. (Required)
o Rational Application Developer (RAD) or Eclipse with WebSphere Portlet Development (Required)
o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
o Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time (Required)
o Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)
o Ability to mentor Portlet Factory developers on common practices and conducting reviews to ensure compliance
o Ability to assist with creation of portal development specific standards and patterns guidelines
