[left][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=3]Sources in the party said Mr Naidu would certainly try to revive the Third Front with like-minded parties soon. “Mr Naidu has made it clear that he will neither support the Congress nor the BJP.[/size][/font][/left]

[left][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=3]The only option left now to play a role in national politics is to forge a Third Front,” a senior TD leader told this newspaper.[/size][/font][/left]

[left][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=3]The TD president explained that the party had kept out of the Presidential elections since it has been fighting a running battle with the ‘anti-people Congress party and opposed the ‘communal’ BJP.[/size][/font][/left]

[left][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=3]When NCP leader P.A. Sangma met Mr Naidu, he said his prospects of winning the polls were bright, saying that the 'Third Front' would be the deciding factor.[/size][/font][/left]

[left][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=3]However, Mr Naidu ditched Mr Sangma. The TD chief had interacted with the CPI, BSP, CPM, AIADMK and other parties for the Third Front, but did not pursue the matter.[/size][/font][/left]
