Nee MacBook pro ye model loo chepu first... And also have you checked your battery condition ..? Normally this sounds more of a software issue so I would first suggest to create a new user account.

(call it as Test Account) and leave it absolutely pristine. DO NOT change any settings or add any software. Then log into that account and try to reproduce the issue see if you have the same problem. If you do not then you have eliminated the chances of a hardware failure and also know it's a software problem limited to your current user account.

I'd also recommend opening Activity Monitor (Applications - Utilities - Activity Monitor) and see if there are any applications taking up a lot of %CPU and how much free RAM you may have. If you see an application taking up too much %CPU then you have narrowed down the issue. If you are extremely low on RAM then perhaps a RAM upgrade is what all that's needed.
