[b][font="Arial"][size="2"]Dismissing the Hindu Jagran Vedike's version that there was a rave party on at the home stay in Mangalore, the police said that investigations have revealed that it was a birthday party.[/size][/font][/b] [font="Arial"][size="2"]It appears as though the Hindu Jagran Vedike got their act wrong. They entered into a home stay and beat up women on the pretext that they were part of a rave party. However, now the Karnataka [ [url="http://search.rediff.com/imgsrch/default.php?MT=karnataka"]Images[/url] ] police has rejected the version that there was a rave party on at the home stay in Mangalore.[/size][/font] [font="Arial"][size="2"]Additional Director General of Police Law and Order Bipin Gopalkrishna informed that it was a birthday party and not a rave party at the home stay 'Morning Mist'. "Our investigations have shown that there was a birthday being celebrated. The party got over at 7 pm," he said. [/size][/font] [font="Arial"][size="2"]Gopalkrishna said that there were in all eight boys and five girls at the party.[/size][/font] [font="Arial"][size="2"]Members of the HJV had claimed that there was a rave party going on at the home stay. They barged into the party and mercilessly beat up the girls.
