hey dude....it depends on how much amount ur employer showed when he applied your h1 ...if its 55k /annum

and your getting 6000/month with taxes included..... 6000*12 = 72000....That mean your are 17000 over your pay and 17000/6000 = 3 months pay ...... So nuvu atmost 3 months kaliga unna em kadhu....but 2 months ayinaka payroll run cheydama best....

this is pure clarity ani anukuntuna :)

to be safe side. 15 days kantey ekkuva pay check lekunda unnadu. antha kanna ekkuva time bench meedha undalsi vasthey, neeku paisal ivvakapoyina parledhu pay roll run cheyyamani cheppu. may be ninnu taxes kattukomani aduguthademo/

1)there is nothing like job-job gap...so technically bench period/no pay period=0 days!!
2)As reddygaru said that is one way of managing oif ur prevailing wage is much less than the wages ur getting....
simple ga cheppalante....everything is tied up to ur w-2 document...so 2 months kalaiga undi...migitha months pay thoif u can mange the rpevailing wage ..ur partially good

3)there may be a situation when u attend the visa interview and if visa officer shows intrest on ur paystubs and bank docs...u'll be caught for not being paid......
