The Kiran Kumar Reddy government on Friday transferred Chandana Khan from School Education Department to Tourism department following wide criticism against her from women’s organizations and child welfare organizations. While speaking at a high level meeting three days ago, she reportedly said students should take up the responsibility of washing toilets everyday and there was nothing wrong in doing that.[/size][/font][/color][color=#3F3F3F][font=georgia][size=4]
However, when her comments kicked up a big furor, Chandana Khan changed her statement, saying she had not asked students to clean toilets, but only told that they should flush the toilets after the use, so that they would remain clean. But the chief minister was not convinced and shunted her out of the department.[/size][/font][/color]
