for example at a customer level: table 1: demoggraphic info, table 2: geograpchi info, table 3: transaction info, table 4: handset info (for communication industry), table 5: rate plan info so.

Example:There is a table A which is used by client for reporting purpose and they asked you to design a change request where you need to change the field length ,so altering the structure of the table.


So there are lot of dependencies on this table if you alter the length many scripts might bake and tables which are sourcing into it or using this table as source get affected and your process might break.So create an explanation how you found the dependencies and altered all the table structures to be in sync with table A.
This explanation will give the hiring person a confidence that he has an idea about the entire system which he is working on

good but what is the explanation ??? if i can know a scenario like that it would help me much in applying the same to my last project and making my future employer understand that i know what i was doing
