@ Thread starter .. Call your school and check if your Sevis is active, usually you will have 60 days Grace period through which your sevis will be active. Trasfer to other school immediatly.

If you sevis is de-activated , than you have two options 1) apply MTR which usually a 4-5 month process. 2) Cross the country and enter again with Valid i-20 .

Ma friend ki monna ilage ayindhi, even his sevis got de-activated. But when he spoke to school authorities, they realized the mistake and re-activated the sevis for 60 days ( Grace period)

I am planning to join a univ. by the end of this week.
My opt started in feb 2011-feb 2012. I applied for extension in Jan 2012 and was rejected in May 2012.

I have applied for MTR ( Motion to Reopen ) in jun and and august 2 nd I received denial for MTR.

Now only thing i can count on is to join an Univ. and get SEVIS active and continue further..

Also Suggest me a good univ. with low fees and minumum risk for CPT issues.

60 days as per my knowledge and you can re-apply to any university. 60 days lopala if you get new i20 you are good. Dont forget to transfer same sevis number from ur old masters univ so that you don't need to go out of country for stamping incase ur F1 visa is near to expiry or expired

manchi univ lo join avvandi... 1.5 year lo ms complete cheyadaniki try cheyandi.....aa tarvata down the line 10-15 years varaku happy life untadi....
