Inka emerging technology adi.. future baane undi kaani currently you may have problems finding positions because not many companies have adopted SAP hana.. HANA is better if you are arleady working in SAP ABAP or SAP BO and then you want to learn an additional skill set. It may not be a good skill set for a beginner..

ur statement is baseless and not true...it always depends on the person not the tech...

HANA is still prematured .

As a hana person, i can say two things or i can see hana in two views

1) Complete releational, where your your hana database gets data from already existing Traansaction system, and reporting will be done in BOBJ, this is for customers with out active BW ( though hana can be loaded from BW, its like doing the same work again and again) . so none of SAP BW users are happy with it.

2) BW powered with Hana, I can say this is the future of SAP. Solid tool, and Boosted performance.

In either way as hana person you need to know BW, relational database techniques, BOBJ also BODS is great too

ABAP lite ...from BW prospective its good to know, but not mandatory. you can pick it up on fly
