Maya Bazaar - Tollywood's gem now sparkles in full color in theatres

Mikkilineni (role of Karna) and Akkineni Nageswara Rao (role of Abhimanyu) are the only two of the leading members of the star cast of Maya Bazaar who are still alive today. As Maya Bazaar is now set to make its theatrical appearance today they turned emotional. They described the joy as a moment of destiny they are lucky to have experienced. 165 people of the Goldenstone company spent around 230 days to present a colour version of this most colourful films in Telugu cinema industry. The sound has been presented in DTS 6.1. Marcus Bartley’s camera work Mikkilineni recalled was a revolution in those days. The veteran actor recalled Director’s K.V. Reddy’s pursuit of perfection when it came to selection of costumes, sets and jewellery. The movie in its colour version will be released with 55 prints. ANR appealed that youngsters of the present generation should be introduced to what he described as “Tollywood’s contribution to global cinema”.
