Steve Jobs' Home Burglarized, $60,000 Worth Of Comp/perso Items Stolen

Steve Jobs' home on Waverley Street in Palo Alto was burglarized last month, reveals Santa Clara County Deputy District Attorney Tom Flattery and a MercuryNews report.

[i]More than $60,000 worth of "computers and personal items" were allegedly stolen, but Flattery declined to say whether they belonged to Jobs, who died last year at the age of 56, or another family member.

On Aug. 2, authorities arrested Kariem McFarlin, 35, of Alameda in connection with the crime, Flattery said. He was arraigned five days later on one count of residential burglary and selling stolen property.[/i]

McFarlin remains in county jail on $500,000 bail and could face a maximum sentence of seven years and eight months in prison. On August 20th he will return to court to enter a plea.

The Bay Area has reportedly seen a 63% increase in residential burglaries. The increase is attributed to unlocked doors and windows. A "Lock It or Lose It" campaign was recently launched to increase awareness and prevent more robberies.

its a software..... i was told they can not uninstall manually........ its kind of GPS to ur laptop...... it detects ur laptop area where it is located.... actually it is detected if u access to the internet....
