Another Geethanjali With Nag -Shekar Kammula

Geetanjali is undoubtedly one of the best classics not just in Nagarjuna's career but also in entire Telugu cinema history. It is one of the most memorable movies in late eighties. Many directors tried to recreate the magic of that movie, but failed miserably. Naa Hrudayamlo Nidurinche Cheli, Oy and the recently released Andala Rakshasi are a few to name.

When directors are failing to repeat the magic of Geetanjali, one director says that he will make a film which is even greater. He is Sekhar Kammula and he says that it is dream to outdo Geetanjali. Sekhar has been planning to work with Nagarjuna from many years. That project didn't materialize yet.

Sekhar Kammula admires Nag's looks. He also said that they have ideal views. "I want to do a great romantic film with Nagarjuna. That will be better than Geetanjali," Sekhar stated. We don't think that anyone could surpass Geetanjali's greatness and it would be a great feat if Sekhar could reach at least half of it!
