O Negative Blood Type In Women

I have researched a lot and found out some intresting things...

as we all know o negative is universal donor. they can give blood to any one but cannot take the blood from all they can get blood only from o negative ...this same logic applies...at the time of pregnancy..

If both husband and wife belongs to negative blood group there are very less chances of complications...

If wife is negative and husband is positive then there are chances of having a positive blood type baby.... then in the time of pregnancy at the 28th week they will give RH shot aka rhogam shot...which supports the baby and the mother..

If the baby is positive blood type then mothers body and baby's blood get recognized at the 28th week so its imp to take rh shot other wife it rejects the baby...it means baby or mother will die...Rh shot protects both from such complications...

If at all the women had been pregnant before and miscarried or aborted she should have opted for RH shot after miscarriage...if she has not taken any rh shot her future pregnancies can be affected (again this is not must but there are very high chances of risk)...

so knowing blood group and taking care from initial stages is very good thing in such case..


This has nothing to do with getting pregnant....
