dotnetrockz Posted August 20, 2012 Report Posted August 20, 2012 either case ur visa(passport stamp) is the killer.....if u have had ur visa until end of 2013....u can travel and return on ur opt extension.... else... if u apply for h1b on april 1st in premium lets sya u'll get it by april 15(im assuming best case)...still if u travel outside the country for h1 stamping...u cannot reenter until sep 21st even though u got stamped... if ur bro gets married sometime in jan u' shud be gud to travel i guess.... 1

[/quote] i think its not a problem for approval/opt extension.....his visa stamp is expiring on june 30th..which means he 'll face a problem upon rentry to us...like people always mention its not advisable to travel during last 6 months of ur f1 visa... 1
