how long a person on H4 has to wait to apply for H1-B visa? and whats the process?

why would there be a duration to apply H1B?....they'll enter the country on H4 and if they find a job they'll apply for H1B....

Someone who has been through this process can comment in detail....

once H4 holder is in Us .
Two ways baa (in both cases H1b Quota should exists)

1.Find full time job and ask the company to apply for H1.here finding a job is your task.

2.Find a Sponsoring consultancy and ask them to apply for H1 (in most cases you need to pay for all the fees) here finding a good consultancy and spending money is your task.

but i heard even after coming to us there is a wait period of 1 yr or 6 month( even if we found a full time job or a consultancy to sponsor h1-. is this true?

H4 to H1 is not as easy task

H4 - F1-H1 is the proper route i think

There is no such rule you dont need to wait for 6mths r i yr
as soon as you find a job you can apply for H1-b all u need is a job and documents
