Where does Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu go every six or seven months in the name of holidaying in foreign countries?
It has always raised a lot of curiosity among the media persons and even political leaders.
The TDP president went on a foreign jaunt along with his family members four days ago and will be returning to the country on Monday via New Deli. Though it is not uncommon for Naidu to go on a foreign tour with his family members once in a while, nobody, including party leaders, knows about where he goes. Party leaders say he went to Dubai this time, but the purpose of his tour and his itinerary has always remained a closely guarded secret. The party leaders only say that his tour details are kept secret because of security reasons.
But Naidu’s bete noire Lakshmi Parvathi does not believe him. She is suspecting that Naidu had gone to Dubai or Singapore only to oversee his huge benami properties and do certain monetary transactions. On Sunday, she wrote to Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to order a probe into Naidu’s frequent foreign tours and his foreign bank transactions. “There is certainly something fishy about his foreign tours,” she alleged.
