The latest buzz in the Industry is the Telugu remake of Bollywood hit Band Baaja Bharaat which stars Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh. Hero Nani was roped in to play the lead in this bilingual planned in Telugu and Tamil. Gokul who worked as an associate of director Vishnuvardhan (Tamil Billa, Panja fame) will be directing this romantic entertainer.

The makers were planning to rope in Bollywood latest sensation Parineeti Chopra (Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, Ishaqzzade fame) as female lead for the Telugu remake. Now the doubt in everyone's mind is whether Parineeti agrees to team up with a budding hero like Nani in South at this point of her career.

Parineeti won critical acclaim and tasted Box Office with the two films she has done upto now. She is one of the most sought after actress in Bollywood at the moment. Chances were high that she might choose to concentrate on her B-town career now and may sign a film or two in South in future depending on the range of the film. Let's wait for few more days for the official confirmation regarding the heroine of this film!
