Estory - 1: Athi Vinayam...........scared Of Hubby

Hi ILs,

I have a very small question today ... based on my today's experience .. Are u scared of ur hubby's ? it can be for any any small thing ....

Scared as in not that he would beat u up or shout on u ... but say it something like he would get unhappy .... or taunt u of ur incapabilities ... And again what is the solution to overcome it and is it any way GOOD to be a little scared ?

Let me share my experience today .... a small intro on my hubby he is otherwise a good person .. sweet heart a lotta times ... but one thing of his that he kind of micro manages me and this had kind of made me loose all the confidence i had in me .. if any

This morning i was making lunch and breakfast for him .. thats my regular routine ... first tea .. then veggie for lunch ... rotis for lunch ... then breakfast ... today it was fry potatoes , then lady finger , get rid of the oil in the vessel and put masala on the veggies , make rotis and then sandwich ...

So after frying my veggies ... i dont knw what wrong went in me ... i took the vessel which had hot oil and put the oil in a plastic container
Then i started my other stuff only to realise later within few seconds GHOSH there was oil in the entire platform since the plastic container got melted .... What u do when this happens to u ?????

As far as me .. i went all blank ... completely numb i got so scared if hubby sees what will he say ... n then i checked he was still in the bath ... i had time to hide what i just did .. immediately i took out so many paper napkins and cleaned the platform ...all in a hurry to do it done before hubby steps out of the bathroom ... i was SAVED .....

Later i thot ... why am i so scared of him .. that he would say i am not able to do things properly or somthing else... instead had i remained cool i would have thot of taking some oil back in some other cup with the spoon .. this way may be few % of oil would be used again ... in my foolishness i wasted everything ... Imagine its night now but i havent shared this thing with hubby out of fear


Again in the evening i noticed that the spinach in the house that we bought some time back was getting spoiled .. i mean it had become very wet kind of .. n i immediately decided to use spinach today for the dinner .. it was just 5 PM and i started to clean it off and cut the spinach coz i wanted to clear it off before hubby comes .. coz i was again scared if he comes and sees that spinach is spoiling he will again raise a question on how i am managing the house ... i had just completed and he came home ... but he has a habit of coming home and first thing get fresh and do some 10 minutes pooja ... meanwhile i completed everything , cleaned the spinach ... everything was fine now .. only then i realised if for any reason he sees the dustbin and finds out that some percent of spinach was already spoiled and is wasted .... even without telling him seeing that he is doing pooja i silently crept out of the home and threw the dustbin contents outside .....phew !!!!

N tonite while i write this here on IL forum i feel so ashamed that am such a coward and am hiding things from hubby ... just wanted to know if there is any one out here who is so scared of hubby and goes to such an extent like i did ......Thanks !
