Housewives May Soon Get Salaries From Husbands: Govt

Today I read this in a sitea, just thought of sharing with you all to get opinions..

"A reason to rejoice for housewives as soon they may start getting monthly salaries from their husbands as the government is mulling a proposal which would will make it mandatory for husbands to share a certain percentage of their income with their wives who stay back and do household chores.
According to reports, the proposal is being considered by Women and Child Development (WCD) ministry for socio-economic empowerment of homemakers.
The idea, mooted by some NGOs, would also be discussed in a meeting to be held with ministers ofdifferent states on September 17-18, informed WCD minister Krishna Tirath.
The minister said that if a portion of a husband's income is allocated as wife's share, it is likely to be spent on better food for children, on their education and the overall quality of standard of living of that household.
