i understand is tiger kills animal and eats it is food cycle if we kill animals and eat it is food cycle but how come killing for eating is different from killing for revenge?!!!!

killing for eating is survival , killing for revenge is stupidity/ evil

Here when it comes to this elephant. The elephant was hanged coz the locals of the town said that they won't allow circus to run coz it killed a man, so the owner thought that hanging in public might do may be coz by doing so he gains public acceptance. He might not have killed for revenge as revenge is never a question as far as this elephant story is concerned.
