Team Anna Splits After 2 Yrs,hazare Tells Kejriwal Not To Use His Name

[b]New Delhi:[/b] Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare on Wednesday parted ways with former team member Arvind Kejriwal saying he would not be a part of the political party being formed by the latter.
Addressing mediapersons after a meeting with Kejriwal on the issue, the veteran anti-corruption crusader reiterated that he would not enter politics and would neither allow the political party to use his name or his image.
"I will not be a part of any political process…I am not in favour of a political party," said Hazare.
Hazare went on to say that the survey on Facebook by India Against Corruption (IAC) claiming people’s support to the decision to join politics was incorrect. He said, "If the Facebook survey was correct, why did we meet?"
Though Hazare accepted that there was split, he wished good luck to Kejriwal.
Meanwhile, former team members Kiran Bedi and Santosh Hegde have decided to side with the anti-corruption crusader.
The meeting was attended by Kejriwal, Bedi, Prashant Bhushan, Santosh Hegde, Manish Sisodia and Kumar Vishwas, among others.
Anna had made it clear on Tuesday that he did not support the anti-corruption movement taking a political plunge and told Kejriwal that he could not expect the activist's support for all his candidates.
"I had told Arvind (last month during Jantar Mantar agitation) that if you want to form a party, you go ahead but I will not be part of that," he had said.
