Nuvvu chepinna dani batti chuste Notary ante public officer who can verify facts, in the case above it was official at local bank who signed the document to witness that you signed and understood it. Notary gadu inka emaina certificate attach chesada to the document with his signature and seal.

emphasis on public office and witness-- mana indian consulate vallu kuda public officials ee kada then why can't they just offer the service for indians in abroad without need to consult another public notary..
After little research I found banks in Uk do not offer the same services as in US , instead we have public notaries who will be able to do that for amount "as little as " as they claim -£65 per page---OMG :3D_Smiles: - what a freaking ripoff!
I have 4 pages of GPA and 1 page affidavit which probably costs me £320+- I could easily arrange trip to india by adding additional £200 .

Notary ante its nothing but an official giving their consent saying that the person who filled in all the details in the form and the person who intend to fill it are one and the same and he did it in my presence ani authorise chesthadu antha kanna emi undadu... Na case lo I searched for notory and I found out Bank of America doing that. I heard even an attorny will do that .... Not sure though. Adi U can find out. The one who did it for me did for no fee. He just said my work is to authorise u are the person ani anthe. just try any local notaries or u can try with attorny too evaranna indian unte that wuld be really helpful
