Operation Antha is 1995 Kannada film starring Ambareesh and directed by Kannada cinema's legendary director Upendra. It is a direct sequel to the 1981 Blockbuster movie Antha which also starred Ambareesh[1]. Ambareesh reprises his iconic role as Kanwar Lal. This movie carried a strong feeling against corruption, where the protagonist is obsessed by the corrupt world and finds a way to change the system through extremist way. The movie also made some controversies because of its taunts on some real life political figures.


The film talks about an effort of a patriot who was jailed back in 1981, to clean India's corruption & bureaucracy through the means of violence and imposing Sharia like rules. However, he fails as the corrupt politicians trick him. He vows to come back & settle it again. The movie also made some controversies because of its taunts on some real life political figures.
