Actual ga naku Development Unix Box lo 300 files unnaye like

ABCD.D120312.Z,
2nd file
..
..
300 files

So eppudu nenu above files Ne unzip chese na local drive loke petale

Unzip cheyadanekee ee command use chestunnanu

/bx167a/rdwdbat> gunzip ABCD.D120312.Z

Output: file directory couldn't found

Nenu emina emina wrong enter chesana plz correct me


Ee error message vastundhe please evarainaaa help cheyande plz

And multiple files Ne ela unzip cheyale?

anni files same folder lo untey, you can execute the command "gunzip *" and it will unzip all the .Z, .gz, .tgz files.

Also, .Z ante adi windows lo gzip cheste vache format. Linux lo by default, when you do a gzip, it will assign a .gz format

for the error, can you try giving a -f directive like "gunzip -f [color=#282828][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]ABCD.D120312.Z"[/font][/color]

multiple files ni oka folder lo peti tar chestey avi ani .tar file lo compress avutayi..
niku inka space reduce cheyali antey..apudu GUNZIP use chestey... .tar.GZ format loki vastadi..

untar cheyali antey tar -xvf XXXXX use chestey as it is ga files kanipistayi..
