If she was arrested, it doesn't mean she was guilty. You even state that having a mugshot taken is normal. If that be the case, why is it you have no problem with the word "criminal" in the original post? Have you bothered to check up on the charges and the outcome of the case?

The original post, for all practical purposes, was excessive and defamatory. The post could have simply cautioned people from renting from her instead of being totally juvenile and accusing people of being criminals and mentally ill. There are courts and psychiatrists for such decisions. A kicked out renter doesn't automatically become an expert on such matters. The original poster is as much a judge and physician as you are a legal guy.
