[size=4][color=#333333][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]I came to Raleigh to do Master's in Computer Science in the fall of 2008. I had become acquainted with two other girls from India. I happen to see one of that lady's ad in yahoo groups, we all agreed to lease the apartment (I think 2510 Avent Ferry Rd)since we have only 3 people, and she (Deepika) wanted a place to live, we agreed to take her as a room mate.

She even picked us up from RDU, what a kind gesture. It was ok with her for couple of weeks, after that fault finding started and sorority advices, because she landed in US 10 years back.

It was a life in hell, and we cant move out because of the agreement. She said, she will sue all of us if we move out or do something stupid and make our life hell and ruin our career in US.

To avoid all such complications, we have to put forth the torture for 12 months and we had to forgo our security deposit (about 400$ each), she said she had to replace this, that.

Just because someone comes to US 1 decade before, do that give them right to take advantage of new comers, one Big lesson learnt, never trust anyone even if we speak same language, from same region.

Now we three live happily in different parts of the country, but never had to endure that kind off mental torture and harassment

Thanks for the person to start such an initiative, I request all my fellow countrymen to be vigilant in dealing with these kind off unsrupulous, unethical people[/font][/color][/size]
