There is Green Card category known EB-5 Visa.You need to invest a min $500k to $1 million in a business and meet requirements like providing 5 full time jobs (should not include you or your family members ) etc
Initially a Temp Green card will be issued for your family and will be renewed after two years to a permanent GC, if you meet the conditions

Most important is you have to show that the investment is your own and not borrowed or loaned or gifted to you.USCIS will require your 5 yrs tax returns with an average of $150K/year (single) or $250k/year filed jointly,preceding last 5 years .You should prove that the funds are acquired legally !

It is not easy as it looks !

Canada PR is itself like a GC.You can apply for Candaian Citizenship if you stay 3 yrs on PR
