India has always been short on smart players, there are a bunch of talented players like Rohit Sharma, Sehwag etc but how many of them are smart? Dhoni has one of the most successful career on limited talent due to his ability to think on his feet. as a player too he has been constantly improving. remember when he started? people had high doubts on his longevity? he is still here and with multiple successes behind him. and all those who say he does not lead by example, just seem to forget the World cup finals..... For today i just questioned playing 3 spinners under lights when u expect moist conditions. Also pathan a natural swinger of new ball should have opened bowling to maximize his utilization. I hated it when duncan flether was made the coach , and I can see a slilde in India s fortune after he has taken over as coach. I think he doesnt bring in new ideas like kirsten used to. I do agree that..... ashwin was trying to do a lot of things than bowl his stock delivery- off spinner. Also chawala has always mediocre bowler who bowls googlys and top spin.
