Naidu, A Brand Ambassador For Drought

Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu has turned out to be a brand ambassador for drought in the state, as wherever he steps in, there would be drought in that area..

This was the observation made by YSR Congress party legislator Shobha Nagi Reddy, while ridiculing Naidu’s padayatra.

“Late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy used to be a synonym for prosperity. Wherever he treaded, there were rains. But during Naidu’s regime, there was only drought all over the state. He has become a brand ambassador for drought,” Shobha said.

She said Chandrababu Naidu’s padayatra would remind the people of a funeral procession.

“The TDP is already dead. The people have already performed the funeral for it. Naidu cannot revive it, however hard he may try,” Shobha said.

The YSR Congress party leader also wondered why Naidu was consulting film directors before taking out the padayatra. “Is he going to call on the people or take up shooting?” she asked.
