Why do we need Reservation?

Because the High-Court ruled out the 4% reservations to the Muslims, today MIM activists attacked secretariat.

My question is why anyone need any reservation based on caste and religion? and for how long they want to continue this worst culture for the sake of votes? Even though the courts slapped the Governments, Our governments will never change and they keep on trying to impose their 'vote bank politics' on us, who said no if they want to give reservations based on economic status? How many more years they want to continue this 'reservation system based on caste' ? When will there be a day where every citizen will be having equal rights in this country? When will be a day that we can see every citizen under the same civil law irrespective of religion?

Yesterday KCR was saying that he will give 10% to 15% reservations to the Muslims (in a Jamaath-E-Islam telangana meet) if separate telangana state is formed. Isn't this stinky? confirmed he is a dirty fellow. After watching the Court's judgement, i hope he will realise that whatever he talked about reservations yesterday is a nonsense.
