u can dail someone directly from lync desktop and u have the option to answer call using phone or directly thru headphones connected to desktop...

for conference u can directly "drag" the person name from lync desktop and a call will be initiated with him......
if ur lync status shows doot disturb..it will directly go VM...or u can choose the time limit for the phone to ring and set a vm...like 20 sec...

but I think its only useful for enterprise people .....mobile enterprise lo MSFT has an upper hand

1)oka call conversation lo ki inkokari name drag chesthe athanki automatic ga call velladam...
2)neeku vm vasthe....converted text and audio file to neeku email ravadam...(best option to delete voicemails all on one click)

3)once u have lync 2010 installed on ur computer if u browse a web apge lets say any search any restaurant and it will have the lync icon which on one clcik will directly call the place....

so ivvani 2007 lo ne unnayantava?

Skype ni konnadi anduke Microsoft vadu..

Androdid and IOS lo Lync app undi...u can even attend the call from it..if remote..and not on the desktop...
