Do not risk the job by doing a WFH unoffically. Usually the networking team will monitor the remote connections once in a while if lot of people are using the VPN and accessing the office network. If someone gets any issues reported, they might do a sweep. Eventually u wil b caught. Also, you said its a F500 company. So, the risk of security breach or threats from outside is common and might drive the company to look after the IP addresses as well, this may even leads you in trouble not only the job but legal actions might incur as well.

Honestly and most importantly, if your family needs your presence desperately, try to focus on that and not on the job. You might get the job in F50, F100 etc in future but not the pain your family is taking cant come back and wil not be reverted.

As all suggested its a bit risky but nothing is impossible you can cheat the IP but you have to make your ***** settings to US IP.

VPN nunchi login ayinappudu if its a big company based on ur IP address they can track immediately in which country you are in...Networking dept vallu immediate ga they can notify your manager. This all depends on your company policies though but usually this is the case. NOrth America lo unte usually light but India ante it is better to ask and work or quit job if that is an emergency and come back and look for projects. Dorikite legal issues untayi and the comany can take report u as well if u r fulltime. Think twice before u start working that way

It's just not about taxes. One of my colleague did the same thing. We have our company in every state in US , multiple countries and also in Hyd. Less than a week lo Networking dept vallu inform chesaru and he is full tme employee so immediate ga vadi mida legal action tesukoni case register even before they informed the manager . Manager ki matuku he is working from India ani inform chesi ask him to stop working ani chepparu. Immediate ga manager vadini stop working and come back asap if you want your job ani chepparu. ventane VPN ki access revoke chesaru. When he came from India and landed in US port of entry lo they sent him back. I guess he will never be able to land in US again. How they react depends on your project security. Prod access usually undadu Offshore teams ki motham access undi secuirty projects chesevallu ala illegal ga work cheste they have to pay huge price for their mistake.
