If it is internal project ask him to get the Project documents like FDD and TDD(When i went first time in india they asked me)
I797, labor, company tax retrurns, photos(If it is small company)
I am not sure whether he can attend anywhere in india. If he is working in Mumbai or Delhi he can attend there otherwise he has to attend in Hyderebad.
